Summary of what i think of every Best of worst games 20XX compilation: There is not much better proof that within the videogame industry there is very little centralism and especially not democratic desision making on how and what videogames to make. Alot of developers are either ignorant of their own incompetence or more likely want to get rich quick where they sarcifice their reputation for it. Just a hypthese : there are more indie developers that AAA studios have if you can all employess that are actually productive in making the game work and maintaining it (that would excluxde the whole marketing deparment) Videogames can be so much more ...

One of the greatest to ever do it.

It's wild how I have always heard the " It's like poetry, it rhymes" but not the "So hopefully it works". Such a huge distinction in tones for my brain. On one hand he says, "it is what it is..." and I can respect someone who can roll with it. The added "I hope" just proves he had no clue what he wanted this to be. He just had money and pull so he said, "Fuck it, I will do what I always wanted to do" and it became garbage. This franchise was saved by anyone who wrote the movie other that George Lucas lol.

Viewing this video almost a decade later really makes it seem like the era of the Steam Greenlight system was just a horrible fever dream. Honestly, what the fuck were the creators of such games thinking when "making" them? If these were made as some crazy prototypes of the early 1st person 3D games it would be possible understandable, but by the point of their release games like GTA 5 were already out, for freak's sake.

Hoffman passed away on my birthday. To this day whenever I'm watching a movie i think, "Philip would have nailed this part." Colossal talent and deeply missed.

Part of what I think makes PSH such a notable presence on screen is despite the fact a he’s a master of the art of acting, he doesn’t look like an actor. He’s not particularly good looking like a young Al Pacino or seemingly experienced and mature like Clint Eastwood, he just looks like a guy. But he’s so talented and precise with all his inflections and expressions that he becomes a real person. He bridges the gap between what we see as an actor and what’s the reality of some guy who works down the hall at your job.
